Washington of Tuskegee Institute, they have worked up interest throughout the State and have put together a collection of exhibits which shows the progress of the Negroes of Alabama. ”2 The Negro Building, designed by WALTER THOMAS BAILEY of TUSKEGEE INSTITUTE, was “L” shaped with exterior dimensions of 72×90 feet.
