Ashley had a unique introduction to her current passion of massage therapy. She was visiting a local horse racing track here in the twin cities, and observed a practitioner performing Equine Therapy (also referred to as Horse Therapy). Equine-Assisted Therapy is a form of experiential therapy that involves interactions between patients and horses. As an avid animal lover, she connected the dots, and decided she wanted to learn bodywork.
Ashley received her professional massage certification from Globe College. She is well versed in a variety of modalities, and is particularly adept at both Deep Tissue and Trigger Point. She is wonderfully capable of blending all of the modalities included in our signature Special K massage, but for those looking for deep muscle work, Ashley would be a great option. Through her education and years of massage experience, she has acquired a strong command of human anatomy, and is able to pinpoint particularly stressed areas within the body.
In her spare time, Ashley spends a lot of time fine tuning race cars, and considers herself a motor-head. As an adrenaline junkie, she also races cars herself! She is a Pitbull mom, and an all around animal lover. She is always up for a challenge, and is an enthusiastic member of the Kinesthesia team!
